I am a cat person, but sometimes I am comfortable with dogs. In the United States, more than half of pet owners have dogs. Another chunk of the population has cats and other pets owned besides cats and dogs make up a very small piece of the pie chart below. My favorite animal is a cat and my dad has his own dog so I already know what it is like to own a dog.

The first reason why I think cats are better is because of their physical and mental abilities. Cats have an excellent smell but a dog’s sense of smell is a bit better than cats have. A cats’ hearing is better than a dogs’ hearing. Cats also have better vision than dogs, cats can even see UltraViolet. Believe it or not, Cats also have excellent night vision. If you ever heard of something “cats have nine lives”, this is a saying and it is not true. The meaning is cats have reflexes and abilities dogs don’t have to survive in harsh conditions. One example of these reflexes is if a cat were to fall off a building like 4 stories high, a cat would turn over in mid-air and stretch its body to land safely and move on without a single scratch. Cats have bones that are flexible which allows them to stretch their body a significant amount. Cats have all these abilities because domesticated house cats belong and evolved from animals belonging to the Felidae family. Animals in the Felidae family have the same hunter instinct because of all big cats and even the small version which is a domesticated cat are predators. Cats can probably survive longer than dogs can if dogs and cats were stray on a street.’

My second reason why cats are better is behavior and physical appearances. Cats are cute, especially with big eyes. They make you just wanna squeeze them. There are also different breeds which mean the same animal but different appearances and personalities. My cat’s breed is Khao Manee(pronounced cow-ma-knee) whose origin is from ancient Thailand. The Khao Manee takes the appearance of all white fur and can sometimes be nicknamed the odd eye cat because some Khao Manee cats are born with a yellow-green eye and a blue eye. This may look extraordinary, but it sadly means that a Khao Manee with odd colored eyes are deaf. My cat happens to be deaf and has odd colored eyes. Cats can also have different personalities from liking to being alone to being half alone half attention to “give me all your energy for me”. Personalities can also range from sleepy to energetic to playful. If you ever watched cat videos, you would know cats can also be funny. Dogs can be this way too but on youtube, I see more funny cat videos suggested to me than dog videos.

My last reason is kind of a small reason to why cats are better than dogs. But it’s a cat and a person might have a natural bond or the personality of a cat matches yours. If you prefer to be alone and not really socialize, you might just find a cat with the same personality: alone, doesn’t like attention, and works better by themselves. It can also be the bond between you and a cat is basically unbreakable. So yeah, Cats are better than dogs/cats are the best pet to have because cats are harder to kill than dogs, cute faces and bizarre coat patterns and unbreakable bonds. for this post, I want to talk about how my gaming life is going, but before I talk about this, I would like you guys to know what BlueStacks is. (Also I realized the last post “New Update For Brawl Stars in May”, I said there would be a part 2 for that, I realized the website I was using was for the past updates so no follow up). For those who know what it is, skip to the next paragraph and you guys who don’t know what this is, read on. BlueStacks is kind of a new program, its free for download. It was released December 29, 2018. It is a free program where it allows you to play mobile video games on your computer. In most cases, I guess it would be more comfortable. So, If I am getting tired of playing Brawl Stars on my tiny screen on my phone, I download BlueStacks. It takes 10-5 minutes to download, and I would really recommend getting it if you like mobile games like the kind Supercell makes. Supercell is a mobile video game company that made Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars, which is all very great and successful games. Also, BlueStacks can reduce memory from 2400 Megabytes to 2048 Megabytes if a PC has more than 8 Gigabytes worth of memory. So yeah, really recommend this because one, this is totally free and popular with over 300 million downloads. Two, this is the only type of program of it’s kind, It makes mobile video games more fun in most cases. Here is free download.

Phantom Forces

So let’s start with Roblox. I only play two games really, that’s Phantom Forces, a first-person shooting game, and Booga Booga, a survival ancient human tribes and prehistoric animals. Before 2019, I used to play way more than those two, but over time, Brawl Stars came out. The first day playing it already made me have an addiction, like the first day of me playing Minecraft. Technically, the first week until Minecraft became a once favorite. But for Brawl Stars, the first-day thing is no joke. I might quit Roblox soon, but quitting is still unclear for many reasons. Let’s talk about Phantom Forces. I will most likely be playing that more than Booga Booga because I gotta admit that for a Lego game, the developers did a pretty good job building the graphics and physics. But, the physics of Phantom Forces(let’s call it PF for now) has been going downhill lately. Like when you take out your melee and kill a guy, you end up killing another guy from 2000 meters. Yes you probably don’t know what that means but I kill a guy but I also kill another guy I never hit. Another is if you accidentally bump into a wall, you can occasionally one, fall out of the map, or two, get flung to a random place for no apparent reason. Also, another thing about PF is the balance of how the weapons are. Some of the guns are literally 1 shot, infinite ammo OverPowered(OP). This is because before two main developers of PF got fired, the game was in balance and never had any problems with what I mentioned before. The two developers were actually super duper important, but some low-class developer decided to take the two other developers’ jobs and the main admins thought that this low-class developer could do all the work for the two other developers. This was a first-time assumption because shortly after the two developers, that low-class developer got promoted and started to do crazy stuff to the game that was bad decisions. Despite this, I still love PF.

So I think this game is really great even though only 77% of people who played said they liked it. I think it is a really simple game but it is pretty fun. So you start off as a noob, you beat up trees and miniature deer with rocks to pro. When you find stronger and stronger materials, you start leveling up. every time you get to level 100, you can rebirth, resetting your level, your stuff, but keep a mojo point. mojo points allow you to buy special stuff from the mojo shop like you can buy god armor or god pickaxe. I would call myself a pro because I have the most useful rebirthing items and I am a good PVPer. My success rate of killing other pros is about 75% of the time successful. The main drawback is that this game isn’t exploit proof. Some people log in the game just to get the most OP item and start killing everyone with fly cheats. Otherwise, this game is pretty good, especially when you’re a pro because you can get into intense, heart beating fights with other pros and gain their stuff or troll the noobies behind you. Both games I mentioned do require a mouse for regular game performance on a PC.

 

 

Roblox Booga Booga

Brawl Stars

I have done and mentioned Brawl Stars in countless posts. Now before playing Brawl Stars, my gaming time would be 80% playing Roblox and the rest playing other video games. Now it’s like 85% Brawl Stars and 15% Roblox. Brawl Stars is more addicting than what I think the best game in Roblox is which is PF. My mom hates me playing PF so I have to play that when she is not home but she allows me to play Brawl Stars. This is because this was recommended to all ages because it’s violence and action in the form of a cartoon. I would pay $25 to have a random stranger to play it. Why is it good? there are many goals you can accomplish in this game. A list of some goals, is most solo victories, most 3vs3, and most trophies, and those are just some of the goals. The gameplay itself is also very addicting. I convinced and got all the boys (except 1 who doesn’t have a phone) and some girls in my class to play some Brawl Stars. They all like the gameplay, but only 4 or 5 of us including me is addicted to Brawl Stars. Also, as I mentioned BlueStacks before, Brawl Stars is one of the most frequently played and popular games played on BlueStacks. that just goes to show how popular Brawl Stars is. So yeah, I will do less Roblox and more Brawl Stars because its how the expression goes “whatever floats your boat” which means whatever makes you happy. That’s all for my post and peace.

So right before I started this post, I was reading a reddit article here. It is about a new update, new brawler, buff and nerfs, and bug fixes. So let’s dive in first with skins and the new brawler. (By The Way, if you have no clue what brawl stars is, see my other posts of this godly game…) So in the middle of May, I am assuming they will release two skins on the same day of the release of the new brawler and release of the update. First, there will be a bunny skin for Penny, which I assume is gonna be released on easter but who knows. The other skin is called Shiba Nita, now I am not fluent in Japanese, but I know there is a Japanese dog called a Shiba Inu. So based on my Japanese knowledge, the Nita skin with look like a Japanese dog I guess??

Rosa-New brawler

The new brawler’s name is Rosa. This picture above is what Rosa looks like. Her main attack is those cacti gauntlets on her hands. I don’t know what those are but according to the reddit page link, in the beginning, her hands are like stones and can punch stuff really hard. Her super is like an outer layer of vines that deflects 80% of enemy combat for 6 seconds. If Rosa is power 9, she gets a star power of healing while hiding in bushes. I can tell by the looks of her Super attack is that it will be nerfed to a smaller duration because I think that’s just insane if I were playing Bull on a showdown match with more power advantage over the player playing Rosa. I think what would happen in this situation is the player using Rosa uses her super while being chased by a bull, this gives a major advantage to the player playing Rosa. I believe Rosa will be released the day after this was posted which is the 25th of April.

Gem grab and Showdown stuff.

Supercell is also adding new maps and new map features. There will be a new gem grab map called minecart madness. So there are tracks on this map with carts, the carts are unique to the map because of the features it holds. Minecarts can block enemy attacks, deal damage back, and damage players if they get hit by a moving cart. There will be two new showdown maps. One is named Royal Runway and the other is called Flying Fantasies. Flying Fantasies is supposed to have like launch pads?? I don’t actually know what they do or what they look like but it definitely sounds cool. New showdown changes too like meteor shower maps, the change is supercell is going to make the radius of the meteor slightly bigger so players have a lesser chance of survival compared to what will change. This sounds confusing, but showdown maps with energy drinks and healing mushrooms are more likely to spawn “farther away from grouped players”. Even I don’t know what that means.

Siege

Seige is currently the newest game mode in the game. A logical change incoming is the power bolts spawn more in the center of the map. I know this is logical because now, bolts spawn randomly, and bolts could spawn mostly in the enemies side making the game unfair. So I can tell centering the bolts makes it a fair game. Sadly, some of us brawlers love using frank on siege, I like using frank on siege because his super can stun the IKE’s attacks. Well, in this update, they are going to make it where frank’s super stun only works on the enemy’s IKE for a split second. The IKE will also have no more area splash attack, so this means the IKE has to get a direct hit on players to deal damage(which is a good thing). This is probably a part 1 of a post because there are so many major and minor changes that it wouldn’t make sense to put all of it in one post. There will definitely be a part 2 post for this but for now, that’s it. and peace.

so for this post, I want to talk about my field trip to the sand island beach.

Ok, so that image is not actually true about why we were there. So no, we did not go to the beach to play in the sand and harass crabs. We arrived at the beach to do something for our science class. Every year at HMS, our teacher said she would take her 7th-grade class to sand island beach to use transect lines to sample life at shallow ocean water. For safety reasons, our class needed to go out as far as the surface of the ocean water goes to our knees, this is to prevent accidents if the illusion that the water is shallow when really it’s a deep trench.

Anyone who got open cuts before the field trip or during the trip were not allowed to go in the water. ocean water is salty, also very dirty because like how us humans litter and that the ocean is basically a big toilet for fish. Primarily, our teachers didn’t want bacteria or fungus to run in or bloodstream and infect us. I was one of these unfortunate people because I had an open cut the other day or more like a scrape because I was kinda not running in the parking lot, I slipped and fell and the rocks scraped the left side of my leg. Although I didn’t realize I wasn’t supposed to go in the water, I was still aware of the cuts possibly being infected so I made sure my cut wasn’t touched by sea water.

I got put to the side with my LA teacher because she is the chaperone I guess for people with cuts. Whoever had to stay on shore for medical reason had to help the other kids in the water like in case they needed this pipe grid thingy. My friend was with me too, so we were… um totally not collecting seashells with classmates(we were).

So there was not as much life as I expected, I expected like a Portuguese Man O War or something like that. But I only saw snails, hermit crabs, and algae. It was really fun even though I didn’t get to be with my group in the water much. So I had fun at sand island beach and this is the end of my post and, peace.

So whether you love Brawl Stars, like it, it’s ok, could be the better, or worst game ever, I want to talk some tips on how to get better at this game or how to get a good head start on this game. Where am I on the rating scale? I love Brawl Stars! I got most of my classmates to install it too. I have a close classmate though who loves Brawl Stars just as much as I do. So me and him are basically Brawl Stars rivals. I love it so much I even posted two blogs about how great it is. Visit the two links here and here.

Anyways, no matter how many posts I make about Brawl Stars, I can’t stop saying how great it is. So we are not gonna talk about how magnificent it is, but how to get better at the game. The first step is knowing how to use each brawler. If you play, let’s say you wanna use bull on a bushy showdown map. Your best bet of winning is by hiding in a bush until someone comes close enough to you. You need to hide in a bush because everyone knows how much damage bull can really deal at CQC(close quarters combat). To make sure no one knows your location is by hiding in a bush. Make sure no one sees you run into a bush with bull because they will not go anywhere near you. You have successfully hidden in a bush, but this doesn’t stop other players from shooting into bushes just to make sure you are not there. Now when someone shoots in bushed to check for enemies, it’s really about luck, meaning you attack or die. If you have an advantage over the enemy, now it’s about survival and strategy. If the enemy has more power-ups than you, I recommend running away.

The second step for getting pro at brawl stars is knowing what brawlers are good for what maps and game modes. Let’s take Piper for example since the game mode bounty is more of a vertical map, piper has some room to snipe enemies. why piper? because you can stay at your spawn point while sniping enemies from far distances. Piper is a sniper where her maximum shooting range does the most damage and minimum range does less damage. Mortis can be good for gem grab because due to his great speed and agility, you can easily collect gems and run away from danger.

The third step of becoming pro is by strategy and luck. Brawl Stars is a game about strategizing and there are some situations that have options or one option. For showdown, you can take power over someone by trapping them or leading them into the green poisonous clouds because no one said you could use them to your advantage. Play smart, do not make moves that you regret later on.

The last step is minor, but it involves box openings and maps. If you like teaming with others, then other game modes like gem grab, heist, bounty, brawl ball, and siege are the right fit for you. Especially seige is good for teams because seige is where you get the most trophies than any other game modes. However, if you like really small teams or like going it alone, then duo showdown or showdown matches are the right fit. Liking a certain game mode and map is called specialization because you like it and try to master the game mode like when you get a masters degree at college. You are more motivated to win something you like. This is important because specialization might help you get more trophies faster. Now box openings, you can choose to open a brawl box the second you get it or save it all for another time so its more exciting to open your boxes all at once. When you open boxes, you always get coins for a fact, you always get power points for a fact, getting a bonus of gems and tickets is by random chance, and getting a new brawler is unlikely to chance. You can see your stats by tapping a big blue “I” Icon in the shop that is located on top of a big box and mega box. opening boxes can help you unlock brawlers, get gold/coins, and get more tokens(token doublers and event tickets help with more tokens)

for this post, we will review some mobile video games of early 2019 in my own opinion. You can comment if you agree or disagree, so let’s start.

#5 Clash Royale

Clash Royale is a 3-year old game about strategy and combat made by the gaming company Supercell. It is a game meant to be held vertically. It is one of the best grossing games made by supercell. It was globally launched in 2016, January. I used to play, but I rarely log in. I think it just got boring. Right now, there are two battle modes, 1v1 and 2v2. 1v1 is one person vs one person. So it is a multiplayer game, meaning you battle against people around the world. I would say in my opinion its addicting when you first play it, but after a while, it gets boring just placing troops down on the arena. Besides, there are still better games than Clash Royale, but if you have spare free time, this would be the game to play. Moving on to #4.

#4 PUBG

Personally, I don’t play this game but I think it still deserves a good rating because many people play it and record their gameplay. I don’t have much to say about this because this is something I don’t play and I have less to talk about something if I don’t experience the whole ride. PUBG stands for Player unknown Battle Grounds, It’s a multiplayer shooting game that receives a ton of good reviews in general. There are different weapons and people compete. I would recommend this game if you want something new, up next is the top 3 best mobile games. The release date of this game is unknown.

#3 Clash of Clans

Another Supercell game, Clash of Clans is a very old mobile game and the first game supercell released. It has over 500 million downloads so you could say its popular. There are games better than it. The best supercell game is the semi-new supercell game: Brawl Stars. But we’ll talk about Brawl Stars later ;D. Clash of Clans is a strategic game where you have to farm to build up both your builder base and home base by gaining loot from battle. I am a fan of Supercell games so I used to play COC (Clash of Clans). Its first release was in 2011, its global launch was early 2012. I would recommend this game but like me for Clash Royale, It got boring raiding villages since I was mostly maxed out in the game. Now up next is top 2 best mobile games in my opinion.

#2 Minecraft PE

Yes, Minecraft is kinda dead today, However, I still see my friends playing Minecraft, particularly Minecraft pocket edition. Minecraft PE got released in 2011, I was one of the first players to play the beta version. Minecraft PE, Minecraft Xbox/play station, and Minecraft PC are basically the same but different platforms: survive the infinite world Minecraft with yourself or friends or go in creative mode and have unlimited resources to build and do whatever you want. Minecraft has been a big chunk of modern video game history. I still play sometimes, I only play sometimes because I’m either playing Brawl Stars or Roblox. But whatever platform floats your boat, all editions of Minecraft are great. Yes, I would recommend it. Up next is #1 best mobile game in my opinion.

#1 Brawl Stars

Finally, we’re down to the #1 mobile game: Brawl Stars!!! I already did a post on this so you can check it out here. I play it, and I got the majority of my class playing it. Brawl Stars has been through a lot, from the time it was an idea, to what it is now. By the way, the concept of brawl stars before was called Slugfest. This game has been in beta for over 3 years, so the concept of brawl stars is older the concept and development of Clash Royale. I gotta say it’s the most addicting out of all the games on this list. I recommend it to all of you, even if you have no space on your IPad, I think it’s worth uninstalling some games for Brawl Stars. Brawl Stars is kinda exactly how it sounds, you brawl with other people. This is a multiplayer game and is the most successful in the beginning compared to other supercell games beginnings. Brawl Stars was globally released in 2018, December 12. It’s a game of battling other people around the world to win trophies, get rewards, unlock new game modes, and unlock new brawlers. Brawlers are important to the game. There are 24 Brawlers to unlock and battle with, there are certain chances you can unlock a couple of brawlers, Brawlers are sorted into “rarities”. Rarity is similar to the chance of something happening. The rarities are Common, rare, super rare, epic, mythic and legendary. Each brawler is unique, this means certain brawlers are best used for certain game modes and maps. Speaking of maps, for those who play Brawl Stars, here is a link to a custom Brawl Stars Map Maker, and Supercell staff actually check the website to handpick maps to add to the game.

I RECOMMEND THIS GAME AND YOU SHOULD INSTALL THIS GAME RIGHT AFTER READING THIS POST!!! Don’t just have it on your phone because I put in caps to install it, play it over time like every day perhaps, then later, you will be addicted, and when you lose trophies, you keep playing even if you lose 500 trophies in one day.

The Game modes are very fun and competitive, the game modes are Gem Grab, Showdown, Duo Showdown, Heist, Bounty, Brawl Ball, Seige, Big Games, Robo Rumble, boss fight, and Brawl Ball, PS did I say Brawl Ball twice?

Normal Events

anyway, Gem Grab is 3v3 where one team has to grab 10 gems from the gem mine and hold on to the gems without getting killed by the opposing team for a certain amount of time to win. Showdown is 10 brawlers including you against each other. There are power-up boxes scattered all over the map you have to beat up to collect power points. You can have as many power-ups as you want, giving you more health and damage. The last man standing is the winner and takes home the prize. Duo Showdown is the same as a regular showdown, except there are 5 teams, 2 people a team. Heist is where its 3v3 and the 1st team to destroy the opposing team’s safe wins. Bounty is like showdown, except no power-ups, and it’s just killing the opposing team, the team with the most kills or stars wins(The stars represent how many kills a player has). Brawl ball is like soccer, 3v3, ball in the middle of the map, anyone can use the ball, the first team to get 2 scores in the opposing team’s goal or the team with more goals than the other wins. Seige is the best game mode to get trophies or where you win the most. Seige is also where you lose the most trophies. Siege is 3v3 where you collect the most bolts than the enemy team to make robots. There are two “IKEs” 1 IKE per team, IKE is a defense mechanism that you must destroy. The IKE fires fast and does major damage. When your robot spawns, you follow the robot to the enemy IKE where the IKE shoots at the closest target, your robot attacks the up close making your team help widdle down the IKEs health.

Ticket Events

Ticketed events require you to open many boxes to get tickets. Tickets allow you to play a unique game mode every week. Big Games is unique, it’s 5 players vs 1 player. But that 1 player gets massive power and health advantage, you and your team have to defeat the other player in a certain amount of time to claim victory. The boss fight is 3v1, except the “1” part is an NPC (nonplayer character). The boss has massive health depending on which dificulty you are in. You and 2 players have to take down the boss without the whole team including you wiped out. As long as one player survives for 20 seconds, you are good. 20 seconds is the time it takes to respawn if you die. Everytime you beat the boss, it gets harder to beat the next round. Robo Rumble is 3vInfinite Robots. Unlike Boss fight, if your whole team is wiped out, you can all respawn as long as your safe isn’t destroyed by automatically programmed robots. The robots attack you safe in different ways and there’s no winning or losing because wave of robots are infinite as long as your safe survives. If you survive for a certain amount of time, your reward increases. So yeah, that’s it for this post and peace.

This is another post for a book I like, it’s called: They Lost Their Heads! I’d say this book deserves a five out of five and this is for kids and older who won’t barf at short stories. The author is Carlyn Beccia, the genre is nonfiction, and I think it’s reading level is in between easy and medium to read.

The book is all real facts. It’s a book of short stories of past lives with interesting facts about their body. One true story is about a guy in the 1800s named Phineas Gage where he is a nice easy going guy who worked at a railroad site. His job was to use a big iron rod to put explosives in holes and cover the holes with sand. The sand was important so the explosives don’t explode until a certain time. When something happened to the sand, Gage hit the sand with his rod and the dynamite exploded. This caused Gage’s iron rod to fly out of his hands, through his cheekbone, and out the top of Gage’s head. This caused Gage’s brain, skull, and left eye to be severely damaged.

The rod landed 100 feet away from Gage, the surrounding workers assumed he was dead but he actually survived. It turns out, the iron rod made a complete hole through Gage’s head. Unfortunately, the iron rod had damaged the left side of the brain, the left side of the brain controls behavior and personality. The hole in his head caused his personality to change from being a nice and well-liked guy to being a big fat jerk. Gage’s reasoning skills were also totally off, he had many seizures after the accident and died in 1860 after a long seizure. gage had survived 11 and a half years after the big accident that changed his life.

This book was fun to read and it also educated me about important past lives. There’s stuff about Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Abraham’s murderer, some inventors’ lives, and many more. It took me like 2 weeks to read, and I would recommend it to Y’all guys. That’s it for this post and peace.

so for this post, I will be talking about a book I read before I really liked called Ender’s Game. This book is only one book, the author’s name is Orson Scott Card, yes it sounds weird but that’s his name. It is kind of a long book, but its worth 3 weeks of reading. It is for ages 8 and up, its genre is action and science fiction. BTW guys, I really like action and science fiction books/movies. Definitely deserves a 5 out of 5, It is one of the best books I’ve ever read, my favorite series/books is the series Expeditionary Force By Craig Alanson, I already did a post on ExForce so you can click here to view it.

Ok, Ender’s Game get’s really exciting as you read it. Though it is made of 324 pages, it is still a good book even if you hate long books. So the book is about a 9-year-old kid in the future, he is always getting bullied by his brother and people at Ender’s school. Earth is being threatened by an outer space alien species everyone calls the buggers. An international fleet in space watches ender’s every move, especially when ender wins fights with bigger kids. Ender qualifies to be a future commander of the international fleet and goes to battle school to train, where a series of life like scenario games are set up for Ender and other trainees to complete. The goal of the games is related to beating the buggers permanently in the future by destroying the bugger fleet and their home planet. Read this book to find out if Ender and a few other smart kids beat the game to know that Earth will no longer be threatened in the future.

Back in 2013, a movie was made from Ender’s Game with pretty much the same dialogue from the book. I think the book was better than the movie because the book shows details that might be hidden to the audience for the movie. I think the movie was still great because it showed the scenes that were happening in the book physically instead of using words to describe a scene. For this post, we are gonna review Clash of Clans. It is kinda an old video game, it is 6 or 7 years old. It is a mobile game first released for iOS on August 2, 2012. Its second release for google play was on October 23, 2013, about 1 year after iOS release. It used to be very popular a few years ago and now, im not really sure if its still widely played. I used to play it, Clash of Clans is addicting but it gets boring eventually. I think it got boring for me so I uninstalled the app.

For those who don’t play, its a mobile game of maxing out troops, buildings, and defenses to gain more loot and win against other players. You need a good base to defend against other players who can attack you. I know there are two villages, one is home village, and the other is builder base. Home base is where you upgrade the most and attack and defend more. The builder base however is different. The builder base has only 1 builder to help you upgrade you everything, because there is only 1 builder, the time to upgrade something decreases compared to home village where you can have up to 5 builders at the same time. Another thing about the builder base is you only need to defend your base if you attack someone. This means you attack someone, they attack you, the person with most destruction dealt to one’s village gets loot.

So, in home village, people attack you offline, in builder base, you have to request to attack someone in order for them to attack you. The troops in builder base also have abilities, there is also a robot hero who can do devastating damage with a cooldown. The home base has heroes too, the only difference is the home base has more heroes than the builder base. But all heroes have abilities, home base heroes have a overall cooldown, this means you have to wait for your hero to heal after a battle to take him/her out. Home village also has spells, each spell has different purposes. Like rage spell increases troop damage and speed in a radius and duration.

so is Clash of Clans dead? well, I see fewer people playing it because there are newer and better games than Clash of Clans like brawl stars. No, Clash of Clans is not dead. I have recently uninstalled Clash of Clans because I rarely was online. Its not dead because before uninstalling it, I always get notifications that my village got raided by someone. According to this forum, most say Clash of Clans is not dead. There are just better games better than it, I think it is still doing pretty well, but I quit the game. So yeah, I wanted to talk about Clash of Clans, that’s the end of my post and peace.

For this post, I will talk about Brawl Stars. It’s a new mobile game made by Supercell that has been in progress for at least 3 years already. Its global release was December 12, 2018. So from the day, this was posted which is February 19, 2019, Brawl Stars is 3 months old. It’s a multiplayer/singleplayer game that involves violence (because brawl means fight) and unique fighters/brawlers. You need to team up or go alone to gain as much trophies and as many brawlers as you can.

It’s very cartoony and animated and for most ages. Did you know Supercell made $63.4 million in the first month of global release. That’s crazy when you think of new mobile games. I know it’s very popular because when I go to McDonald’s, I see kids next to me playing it, and almost my whole class is playing it. It is very addicting and I do recommend it if you have a mobile device. As of now, there are 23 brawlers and of course, there are different rarities. In order, they are trophy road reward, common, rare, super rare, epic, mythic, and legendary brawlers. The rarity means what chance you can unlock a brawler.

Let’s talk about the actual game itself, there are different game modes meaning you gotta accomplish different things for rewards. There are 7 game modes and they are Gem Grab, Showdown(Like battle royale), heist, brawl ball, bounty, big games, and Robo rumble.

Gem grab is where you grab gems from fallen enemies or the gem mine and hold 10 gems total of your team for 15 seconds to win. Showdown is you and 9 other brawlers collecting power cubes to make you stronger and give you more health and place #1 by defeating everyone else. Heist is two vaults, your teams and the enemies’. Your goal is to knock the heist’s health points down first to win. Brawl ball is basically soccer, get the ball in the enemies goal 2 times first to win. Bounty is working with your team to defeat more enemies first to win. Big games are 5 brawlers vs 1 brawler, but the 1 brawler has massive health points and huge damage advantage. The 5 other brawlers have to defeat this 1 brawler in time to win. Robo rumble is like heist, except there is only 1 vault, you and 2 other brawlers need to defend your vault against robots for as long as possible, ending with you and your teammates dead, or robots destroy the vault.

In all game modes except for showdown solo, you can respawn. In showdown Duo, you are partnered with someone to dominate the game and be #1. As long as your partner is alive, you can respawn. So yeah, Brawl Stars is a really good mobile game to pass time. Very addicting and I recommend it to ages 8 and up. yeah, this is the end of my post, So if you have a mobile device like phone or tablet, then you better install Brawl stars right now.
